Our Library
Students at our library have the opportunity to explore literature and acquire skills
necessary to become self-reliant, life-long learners.
A library is a place where you can find books, magazines, records, and films.
You can also find dictionaries, atlases, encyclopedias and maps that will help you to research and study.
A librarian is a person who works in the library. She helps children find the books they want.
Libraries have rules.
Here are some for you to keep in mind:
• Keep silence
• Return the books on time
• Respect the librarian and other people in the library
• Take good care of the books
• Do not enter with food or drinks
Fiction and non-fiction books are arranged in alphabetical order by the authors’ last names.
A book by Roald Dahl comes before a book by Judy Delton.
We can help you choose a book that corresponds to your reading development:
• Short, simple stories for the early reader
•. High interest stories for the developing reader
• More complicated plots for the independent reader
In any case, reading is fun!
